She'll help those that need help, and even sometimes the ones who don't seem like they need that at all. However, once her ego is bruised, or her intelligence is challenged she will let loose a whirlwind of rage. You never want to be on her bad side, because you will know just from the first glance. Her brown eyes can seem emotionless, but they hold all her emotions at once. She's easy to read like a book, and she doesn't care. However, get her mother and sister involved she puts up walls higher and longer than the wall of china. Burying her emotions so deep in herself, she can't let them go without feeling foolish and she doesn't like to cry in front of others. She had a loving mother, a doting father, and an older sister that she thought loved her. She never got everything she wanted. She learned that she needed to work for things and so she helped her dad outside in the barns. She had a knack for taking care of animals. Her father taught her the importance of being independent, being strong physically, mentally, and emotionally. Shay wasn't little miss popular in school, and she didn't mind that. She had her looks, she had her personality. If people liked her awesome, if not she didn't give two fucks about them. She never strived to be what others wanted. That’s when she had met Jace, the love of her life. The two of them were the power couple of the school and everyone knew it. The two matched in their wants and needs, their determination bringing them together. However, it all ended after graduation. Once he got his music career on track she was left behind with a secret he never learned. For nine months she tried reaching him, going through college for her vet degree. However, she was alone when she gave birth to their daughter Jamie. Sadly this was something Shay wasn’t ready for by herself and put her daughter in the hands of someone she thought much more capable of taking care of her. Shortly after that her father passed, leaving her in charge of the farm because of her mother and sister’s interests elsewhere in life. She went through college, and trained in the Capitol earning her degree and turning the breeding ranch into a vet clinic for the ranchers and farmers. She hasn’t seen Jace since then though, and deals with one repeat client she doesn’t ever want to see again. |
